TVS Motor has started testing a new motorcycle on Indian roads. The bike was spotted testing near Hanuman Junction on NH5.

Going by the image, the motorcycle seems to be based on the TVS Draken concept that was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. This leads us to believe that it could be an upcoming version of the Apache.

The bike has the same alloy wheels, front mud-guard and disc brakes that were seen on the Draken. The design of the mirrors and headlamp cowl are similar to that of the Apache. The size of the motorcycle suggests that it is powered by an engine with a displacement of 150-200cc.

The Draken concept had a 249.2cc, 4 valve, DOHC liquid-cooled engine with EFi. It produced 38.5 BHP @ 12,000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque @ 9,500 rpm and was mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Apache is rumoured to be getting a 200cc unit with around 30 BHP and 20 Nm.
