Skoda Rapid Rider Plus variant discontinued

The Rapid Rider Plus was introduced in July last year and was priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh.

Skoda has discontinued the Rider Plus variant of the Rapid. The same has been confirmed by Zac Hollis, Director - Sales and Marketing, Skoda India.

The Rapid Rider Plus was introduced in July last year at an introductory price of Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

It came with a few exterior tweaks, including a trunk lip garnish, gloss black B-pillars, chrome trim on the window line and decals on the sides.

On the inside, the car came with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that had Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, dust and pollen filter, as well as rear AC vents.

The Rapid Rider Plus was powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produced 108 BHP and 175 Nm. The engine was paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
