Tata Altroz EV to be launched in 2025

The Altroz EV was revealed in concept form at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

Tata Motors has said that they plan to launch the Altroz EV next year. The car could be unveiled at the 2025 Auto Expo.

The Altroz EV was revealed in concept form at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. A year later, the car was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The current iteration of the Altroz EV looks similar to the ICE version. However, the electric hatchback is expected to get a major redesign by the time it is launched in the Indian market.

The Altroz EV is likely to adopt Tata’s next-gen design with sleeker-looking headlights and tail lights, LED daytime running lights, redesigned bumpers and alloy wheels. Inside, it will feature an updated dashboard with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and the new 2-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo.

Like the recently launched Punch.ev, the electric version of the Altroz could also be offered with two battery options. It will be interesting to see how it will be positioned in terms of its pricing.
