Tata Altroz iCNG bookings open in India

The Altroz iCNG will be available in four variants: XE, XM+, XZ and XZ+.

Tata Motors has started accepting bookings for its upcoming Altroz iCNG. Customers can place their order by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000.

The Altroz CNG was showcased at Auto Expo 2023. It is the first CNG-powered car in India to feature Tata's Twin Cylinder CNG technology. Instead of a single, large CNG cylinder taking up space in the boot, Tata has installed two smaller cylinders of 30 litres each. They are placed below the luggage area, ensuring a large usable boot space.

The Altroz iCNG comes equipped with a single ECU that is said to ensure a seamless shift between petrol and CNG modes and vice versa. The car can also be started in CNG mode directly.

The Altroz iCNG comes with safety features like thermal incident protection, gas leak detection and a micro switch to ensure the car is switched off at the time of refuelling.

The Altroz iCNG will be available in four variants: XE, XM+, XZ and XZ+. It will come equipped with leatherette seats, cruise control, automatic headlamps and other features. The car also gets Tata's iRA-connected car technology.

Tata Motors is offering a standard warranty of 3 years / 1,00,000 km on the Altroz iCNG.
