Tata Altroz teaser video out

Tata has released a teaser video of the Altroz hatchback on its Youtube channel. The short 14-second clip shows the side profile of the Altroz.

According to media reports, Tata is likely to unveil the production-spec Altroz sometime next month. The car is based on the modular ALFA platform. It has a slim grille and slim wraparound headlamps with triangular fog lamp pods placed just below the main headlamp. At the rear, the Altroz has wraparound tail lamps and gloss black trim on the tail gate.

The Tata Altroz is expected to be offered with three engine options including a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine from the Tiago, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. A 5-speed manual transmission is likely to be offered as standard, while an automatic could be introduced later.
