Tata Aria facelift priced from Rs. 9.95 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the facelifted Aria in India. Prices for the crossover start from Rs. 9.95 lakh and go up to Rs. 14.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Aria is available in three variants: Pure 4x2, Pleasure 4x2 and Pride 4x4.

The Pure 4x2 is the base variant and features double barrel projector headlamps with follow me function, clear lens tail lamps, decals on the sides and 16-inch steel wheels. On the inside, it features beige fabric upholstery, driver information system and dual AC. On the security and safety front, the car comes equipped with a remote keyless entry system, engine immobiliser with alarm and disc brakes all round.

The Pleasure 4x2 gets front and rear fog lamps, chrome front grille, body coloured roof rails, chrome inside door handles, glove box chiller, 2-Din music system with USB and Aux-in functions and six speakers, rear wash wipe, driver and passenger front airbags and ABS with EBD.

The exterior of the Pride 4x4 features black bezel headlamps with darkness sensing function and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the interior has a black and plum theme with metal inserts and leather upholstery. There is a JBL sound system with 10 speakers, satellite navigation system, telephone and reverse camera. The Pride 4x4 comes with safety features and driver aids like six airbags, ESP and traction control, an all-wheel drive system and rain sensing wipers.

Under the hood the Aria features a 2.2-litre VariCOR diesel engine, which produces 150 PS and 320 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
