Tata Harrier Automatic to be offered in 3 variants

Responding to a comment on Youtube, Tata Motors has confirmed that the upcoming Harrier Automatic will be available in three variants - XMA, XZA and XZA+.

At present, the Harrier is offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine produces 138 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Reports suggest Tata is also planning to add a 170 BHP version of the 2.0-litre diesel engine to the Harrier line-up. It is still unclear whether this engine will get the automatic transmission option.
