Tata Safari facelift interior spied; gets new steering wheel

The new steering wheel is similar to that of the Tata Sierra EV Concept.

A test mule of the Tata Safari facelift has been spotted once again. However, this time, we get a glimpse of the SUV's updated interior.

The latest spy images suggest that the upcoming Safari will get a revamped interior. While most of the dashboard is covered in camouflage, the centre console appears to be equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system. But, more importantly, the SUV has a new design steering wheel first seen on the Sierra EV Concept.

The Safari will also receive several exterior updates. Spy images have revealed a sleeker-looking grille with LED daytime running lights on either side, redesigned headlamp pods and dynamic turn indicators. The SUV could also get new tail lamp clusters connected by an LED light bar.

Safari test mules have also been spotted with radar modules, which suggests that Tata Motors is likely to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on its flagship SUV. The Harrier is also expected to receive similar updates.
