Tata Safari XMS & XMAS variants priced at Rs. 17.96 lakh

The Safari XMS and XMAS variants come with a panoramic sunroof among other features.

Earlier this month, Tata Motors launched XMS and XMAS variants of the Harrier. Now, the carmaker has added these variants to the Safari range as well.

The Safari XMS is priced at Rs 17.96 lakh, while the XMAS trim costs Rs 19.26 lakh (ex-showroom). Like the Harrier, the Safari XMS and XMAS variants come with a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse parking camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and electrically foldable ORVMs.

Powering the XMS and XMAS trims is the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
