Rumour: Tata Tiago EV to be unveiled on September 28

The Tiago EV will be Tata’s most affordable all-electric model and will be positioned below the Tigor EV.

Earlier this month, Tata Motors announced its plans to expand its EV line-up with the introduction of the Tiago EV. As per reports, the car is likely to be unveiled on September 28.

The Tiago EV will be Tata’s most affordable all-electric model and will be positioned below the Tigor EV. It is expected to use the brand’s Ziptron electric powertrain.

Tata Motors hasn’t revealed any details about the powertrain yet, however, it has been speculated that the hatchback could use the same electric motor and battery pack as the Tigor EV.

The Tigor EV comes with an electric motor that produces 74 BHP and 170 Nm. It is powered by a 26 kWh battery pack that has an ARAI-certified range of 306 km.
