Team-BHP Scoop: KTM RC 390 spied testing

Thanks to BHPian PrasadWad for sharing these pictures with us.

Earlier this month, an image put on the KTM RC 390 India Facebook page showed the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer had started testing the RC 390 in India. The bike has been spotted once again.

The RC 390 is a full-faired version of the 390 Duke. Unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle exhibition it features a full fairing, new tail-frame section, shorter wheelbase and clip-on handlebars. The bike has a powder-coated, tubular space frame made from steel, with an upside down WP suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Single disc brakes have been provided on both wheels.

The RC 390 shares its engine with its Duke sibling. Both are powered by a 373.2 cc, 43 bhp, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The RC 390 weighs more than the Duke.

KTM is expected to launch the RC 390 in the next fiscal. It is likely to cost more than the 390 Duke.
