Toyota Rumion is the rebadged Maruti Ertiga for South Africa

No mechanical changes are expected. It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine.

Pictures of a rebadged Maruti Ertiga have surfaced online. The car shown is for the South African market and is called the Rumion.

As expected, there are only a few cosmetic changes. On the outside, it gets a different grille with a Toyota badge. The MPV gets black interiors with wooden trim. No mechanical changes are expected. It is likely to be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine.

In India, Toyota offers rebadged Maruti cars like the Glanza and Urban Cruiser. It is likely to launch a rebadged Ciaz called the Belta. A rebadged version of the Ertiga is also expected to be offered.
