TVS Apache RTR 310S - new spy shots reveal more details

With the official launch of the Apache RTR 310S nearing, more spy shots and details of the motorcycle are surfacing on the internet. One such set of spy shots offers a clearer look into how TVS plans to equip its new flagship motorcycle.

The images reveal that the bike will be equipped with twin-projectors headlamps and will also feature daytime running lights (DRLs). The large tail light assembly appears to get LED inserts that are shaped to resemble devil horns. A vertically mounted all-digital instrument cluster is also visible. Interestingly, the clip-on handlebars are mounted slightly higher and thus result in a riding posture that isn't very aggressive. The large windshield at the front also points towards the fact that TVS might position the Apache RTR 310S as a sports tourer.

The bike gets an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Both front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes, though there are no signs of the presence of ABS on the spotted bike. However, it is being said that TVS will surely offer the feature with the final production version of the Apache RTR 310S, at least as an option.

The Apache RTR 310S is based on the same platform that underpins the BMW G 310 R. It will be powered by a 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. TVS is expected to launch the bike around the festive season this year.
