Ultraviolette F77 electric bike launched at Rs. 3.80 lakh

Ultraviolette has also announced a special edition of the F77, limited to just 77 units.

Bangalore-based EV start-up Ultraviolette Automotive has launched its first all-electric high-performance bike called the 'F77'. It is available in two variants - F77 and F77 Recon, priced at Rs. 3.80 lakh and Rs. 4.55 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

The Ultraviolette F77 looks futuristic and sporty with its angular fairing and aggressive front end. It is offered in three trims – Airstrike, Shadow and Laser and comes equipped with an LED headlamp, clip-on handlebars and a digital instrument console. It has a stepped seat and a narrow tail section. 

The F77 Recon uses an electric motor that develops 39 BHP and 95 Nm. It is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, offering an IDC range of 307 km. The base F77 packs 36 BHP and 85 Nm. It comes with a 7.1 kWh battery offering a range of 206 km on a single charge. The bike has three riding modes – Glide, Combat and Ballistic.

Ultraviolette has also announced a special edition of the F77, limited to just 77 units. It comes with a 40 BHP electric motor with a torque output of 100 Nm. This version of the bike is said to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 152 km/h.

Deliveries of the F77 will commence in January 2023 in Bangalore. The bike will go on sale in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Cochin in Q2, followed by Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Lucknow in Q3 and Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Guwahati and Ludhiana in Q4.

The Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle comes with an 8-year / 1,00,000 km warranty.
