Ultraviolette F77 electric bike set to debut in H1 2022

The Series C funding was led by TVS Motor Company and Zoho Corporation.

Bangalore-based EV start-up, Ultraviolette, has announced that the first batch of its F77 high-performance electric motorcycle will roll out in the first half of 2022.

Earlier this week, the company also said that it had received a fresh round of funding, enabling it to launch the F77 in the market at the earliest. The Series C funding was led by TVS Motor Company and Zoho Corporation.

The Ultraviolette F77 is powered by an electric motor that has a maximum output of 33.5 BHP and 450 Nm. The bike is claimed to accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 3.0 seconds.

Initially, the F77's battery pack offered a range of 150 km on a single charge. However, the production version is likely to have a longer range.
