Volkswagen Polo GTI: Installed Bilstein B6 dampers for better handling

The ride quality improved a lot and made me realise that I shouldn't have waited 48,000kms before doing this change.

The front strut mounts needed replacement and as I was ordering it, I came across a good deal on Bilstein B6 dampers. I had decided to keep the GTI for a few more years and it seemed damper upgrade would prove beneficial. I have had Bilstein B6 in my previous cars, it is a mod which makes a tangible difference to the ride and handling without any compromise on the ground clearance (as long as you are using the stock springs). I swapped the stock Monroe dampers with Bilstein B6 along with new strut mounts. The ride quality improved a lot and made me realise that I shouldn't have waited 48,000kms before doing this change.
