Xiaomi electric car spied for the first time

The manufacturing unit is said to begin mass production in 2024.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi had announced its plans to enter the global electric vehicle market in 2021.

Now, a year later, an image has been leaked online, which according to reports, is believed to be of the upcoming electric vehicle from Xiaomi. The images showcase a long, low-slung 4-door electric sedan. However, there are no confirmed details at this time.

Xiaomi had previously announced that they were planning to set up an electric vehicle manufacturing unit in Beijing. The facility will be built in phases, and once complete, it should have a production capacity of 3,00,000 lakh units per annum. The manufacturing unit is said to begin mass production in 2024.
