Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 launched at Rs. 83,850

Yamaha Motor India has launched the Fazer FI Version 2.0 motorcycle at a price of Rs. 83,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Aimed at users between 18 and 30 years of age, the Fazer gets a revised half-fairing with restyled twin headlamps, new body decals and digital instrumentation with an ECO indicator. The bike is available in three colours - red dawn, white cloud, and black hawk.

The Fazer Version 2.0 uses the same engine as the FZ FI and FZ-S Version 2.0, which is a 149 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, 4-stroke unit with Yamaha's Blue Core technology. It develops 12.9 bhp @ 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque @ 6000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Stopping power comes from a disc brake and drum brake at the front and rear respectively.

Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike rides on tubeless tyres all-round.
