Tata Hexa spotted testing in Pune

Three test mules of the Tata Hexa crossover have recently been spotted testing in Pune. The test mules were heavily camouflaged, and thus showed no major design elements of the upcoming crossover. Tata will likely launch the Hexa crossover later this year.

The Tata Hexa was officially revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and was later showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo (Tata Hexa @ Auto Expo 2016). Tata officials claimed that the model showcased at the Auto Expo closely resembled the production-spec Hexa.

Based on the Aria, the Tata Hexa has been given a more SUV-ish look. The front gets a hexagonal grill pattern, smoked projector headlamps, and DRLs above the fog lamp housing. The car showcased at the Auto Expo had full body cladding and 19-inch rims, though it remains to be seen whether or not Tata brings it to the production model. The tail-end gets LED taillights and chrome-tipped dual exhausts.

The Hexa will be powered by a 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine that makes 154 BHP and 400 Nm of peak torque. A 6-Speed manual transmission will come as standard, while a 6-speed Automatic will be available as an option. The Hexa will also get multiple driving modes.

Once launched, it will compete against the Toyota Innova Crysta, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, and Nissan Terrano.

Volkswagen India might finally reveal prices of the Ameo compact sedan on June 5, 2016. This information comes from the manufacturer's facebook page which says 'To know the price of the Volkswagen Ameo, stay tuned till Sunday, 5th June.'. The company has started an #AmeoPrice contest, where the fans can guess starting prices of the upcoming sedan. Volkswagen says that the first five people to guess the closest starting price of Ameo will be rewarded.

The Volkswagen Ameo Compact Sedan made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo (Volkswagen Ameo @ Auto Expo 2016). A look at the Vitara Brezza's base variant

Thank you to the Team-BHP fan (who prefers to remain anonymous) for sending in these images! Heartfelt gratitude for sharing them with other enthusiasts.

Check out Team-BHP's detailed report on the Vitara Brezza here.

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza made its global premier at the 2016 Auto Expo. The car's launch is expected in March this year and select dealers have unofficially started accepting bookings. Now, we have received a fresh batch of images from Maruti's plant in Manesar, Haryana. The images give us a close look at the base variant of the Vitara Brezza along with a few other exterior colour shades of the car as well.

Seen in white, the base grade of the Vitara Brezza misses out on features like the projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, chrome on the front grille, alloy wheels and integrated turn indicators on the ORVMs. Additionally, the fake skid plate is finished in black (not silver).

The images also give us a look at the Vitara Brezza in a single tone silver colour, along with the car in a red-black dual-tone shade. Going by the equipment levels of the dual-tone variants seen so far, we can be sure that the dual-tone option will only be offered with the top-end variant. The images also show that the Vitara Brezza's production is in full swing and Maruti will be looking to stock up as many cars as possible to avoid a waiting period build-up.
