Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition launched at Rs. 86,500

Suzuki has launched a new base variant of the Avenis 125cc scooter. The Avenis Standard Edition is priced at Rs. 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Avenis Standard Edition comes with a digital instrument cluster but misses out on connectivity features. The scooter also has an LED headlamp and LED taillight, an external fuel filler, USB charging, and a side-stand engine cut-off system.

The Avenis shares its underpinnings with the Suzuki Access 125. It is powered by a 124.3cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.5 BHP and 10 Nm.

The Avenis is also available in Ride Connect Edition and Race Edition variants.

Suzuki rolls out 6 millionth 2-wheeler from Gurgaon plant

Suzuki's India line-up includes the Avenis, Gixxer 250 twins, Gixxer 150 twins, the Access 125 and the Burgman Street 125.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has rolled out its 6 millionth vehicle from its manufacturing facility at Gurgaon. The company had started its India operations in February 2006.

The Suzuki Avenis became the 6 millionth unit to leave the factory. The company had launched the Avenis in November last year. It is a sporty looking scooter that is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine. It produces 8.5 BHP and 10 Nm.

Suzuki's Indian product portfolio also includes the Gixxer 250 twins, Gixxer 150 twins, the Access 125 and the Burgman Street 125.

Suzuki has launched the Avenis in India at Rs 86,700 (ex-showroom). The new scooter falls in the 125cc segment and competes with models such as the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia 125 and the recently introduced 2022 Aprilia SR 125.

The Suzuki Avenis features a sporty design. It has a sharp-looking front apron, faux vents, split-type taillamp and a single-piece headlamp. There is a small windscreen, halogen turn indicators and 3D logos.

Some of the other features of the Avenis include an external fuel filler cap, a USB charging socket, side stand interlock and a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheel setup. The scooter also has a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity that offers turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts.

The Avenis draws power from the same 124cc, single-cylinder engine that we have seen on the Suzuki Access 125 and Burgman Street. It is a fuel-injected motor that is capable of producing 8.5 BHP and 10 Nm.

The Suzuki Avenis is available in 5 colour options that include the MotoGP edition which costs Rs 87,000 (ex-showroom).
