Hero Passion Pro and XPro 110 cc bikes launched in India

Hero Motocorp has launched the 2018 Passion Pro and Passion XPro models powered by 110 cc engines. These are priced at Rs. 53,189 and Rs. 54,189 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

Both bikes are based on a tubular double cradle frame. The Passion Pro measures 1,962 mm in length, 720 mm in width and 1,087 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,235 mm and the seat height is 780 mm. The bike weighs 117 kg and comes with an 11-litre fuel tank. The Passion XPro on the other hand measures 1,966 mm in overall length, 774 mm in width and 1,087 mm in height. Its wheelbase is slightly longer at 1,245 mm and the seat set at 790 mm. The XPro weighs 117 kg and has a 9.2-litre fuel tank.

The 2018 Passion Pro gets a redesigned headlamp and a new tail lamp. It features restyled bodywork and a digital-analogue instrument cluster. The Passion XPro gets a new headlamp and LED tail light, dual-tone mirrors and rear tyre hugger. Both bikes come in dual-tone colour schemes with black 5-spoke alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension and twin rear shock absorbers. Other features include digital fuel gauge, trip meter, side stand indicator and All Time Headlamp On (AHO).

Both bikes share the same BS-IV compliant 110 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces 9.3 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The claimed 0-60 km/h acceleration time is 7.45 seconds. Both come equipped with Hero's i3S Idle-Start-Stop-System. Brakes come in the form of either a 240 mm disc or 130 mm drum in the front and a 130 mm drum in the rear. 

The Passion Pro comes in five metallic colour options - Sports Red, Black Monotone, Force Silver Metallic, Heavy Grey Metallic and Frost Blue Metallic. The XPro is offered in five dual-tone colour schemes - Sports Red with Black, Black with Sports Red, Black with Techno Blue, Black with Heavy Grey and Force Silver with Black.

2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro, Passion XPro unveiled

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the 2018 Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion XPro models. The latest iterations of these commuter bikes get cosmetic as well as mechanical updates. The bikes will be launched in January 2018.

The 2018 Super Splendor gets a new seat and redesigned bodywork along with a new LED tail lamp. It comes with new body graphics and will be offered in five colour options.

The 2018 Passion Pro gets a new headlamp and restyled bodywork. The front cowl houses a digital-analogue instrument cluster, while the rear features a new tail lamp while the new Passion XPro comes in a dual-tone colour scheme with a new headlamp, LED tail lamp, dual-tone mirrors and a rear hugger. 

The Super Splendor is powered by the 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, but it now produces 11.4 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The bike comes with a 4-speed gearbox and a wider rear tyre.

Both the Passion Pro and Passion XPro use the same 109cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It has been re-tuned to produce 9.4 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm.

All the bikes come with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), side stand indicator, under seat storage and the i3S start-stop system. While the standard variants of these are offered with drum brakes on both ends, the front disk brake is offered as an optional extra only on the Passion Pro and XPro.
