Hero MotoCorp begins deliveries of Vida V1 e-scooter

The first Vida V1 e-scooter was delivered by the Vida Experience Centre located in Bangalore.

Hero MotoCorp has commenced customer deliveries of its Vida V1 electric scooter. The first e-scooter was delivered by the Vida Experience Centre located at Vittal Mallya Road in Bangalore.

The Vida V1 is available in two variants – Plus and Pro, priced at Rs. 1,35,705 and Rs. 1,46,880 (on-road Delhi). The prices include all connected features, a portable charger and a charging service.

The Vida V1 features dual-tone bodywork with an LED headlamp up front and a 7-inch touchscreen. It also gets features like keyless control, cruise control, SOS alert, a two-way throttle and three riding modes – Eco, Ride and Sports.

The Vida V1 electric scooter comes with swappable batteries. The V1 Pro is said to have a range of 165 km, while the V1 Plus can cover 143 km on a single charge. Both variants can be charged at a rate of 1.2 km per minute. According to Hero, the V1 Pro and V1 Plus can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 3.4 seconds, respectively. Both variants have a top speed of 80 km/h.

Hero's first Vida Experience Centre opens in Bangalore

The Vida experience centre in Bangalore has started offering test rides of the Vida V1.

Vida, Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicles sub-brand, has announced the opening of its first ‘Experience Centre’ in Bangalore.

The Vida showroom is located at Vittal Mallya Road. The facility, spread over 8,500 sq. ft. has a display for the Vida V1 scooter and includes charging stations, an in-house coffee bar and a library.

The Vida experience centre in Bangalore has started offering test rides of the Vida V1. The company will open similar showrooms in Jaipur and Delhi soon.

The Vida V1 was launched last month. The electric scooter is available in two variants – Pro and Plus, with prices starting at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will commence in the second week of December 2022.

Hero Vida V1 electric scooter bookings open in 3 cities

Initially, the Vida V1 will be available in Delhi, Jaipur and Bangalore.

Hero MotoCorp has opened the order books for the Vida V1 electric scooter. Customers can book by paying a token amount of Rs 2,499, which is fully refundable.

Initially, the Vida V1 will be available in Delhi, Jaipur and Bangalore. Deliveries will begin from mid-December 2022. In the second phase, Hero plans to roll out the Vida V1 in eight new cities.

Hero is also offering a buy-back assurance scheme. As part of this, the company would purchase the scooter back at up to 70% of its value within 16-18 months.
