Best TV AD for Indian cars

Though i have not seen the ad, i can imagine the whole ad by the way you have described. Its a nice concpet and i am sure you would agree that the ads suits best for Skoda and only Skoda

BRILLLIANT! I could have bought the Skoda just because of that ad.
Another nice ad was the one for Optra. Specifically the karva chauth ad. Lovely advert with a lovely female model.

I am not voting for anything else other than the Aveo ad with Rani and Saif. Its wittily done and Rani looks....ohh well, yummy !!

For the Car ads it's got to be the Skoda ad the optra ad is also done well.

For bikes it's got to be the new Pulsar Mania ad. Frankly nothing like that seen before leaves such an amazing impact on the mind . Distinctly ahead I must say.

The absolute WORST ad is the one for the new Toyota Landcruiser. What a fantastic car backed by a lousy ad. It seems inspired by one of those Superman / Batman movies from the 80's....car flying et all. What are they trying to communicate?

Absolutely useless.

P.S. : Part of the reason behind my rant is that I deeply love the LC.

Yesterday, at the Mumbai launch of the Grande Punto at Taj Land's end, we got to witness the tv commercial for the Punto featuring Yuvraj Singh. Its different, its in our national language and its shot in the dark which gives an eerie sort of a feel. The tagline "Be bold" is emphasized on throughout the ad by showing Yuvraj's achievments through his bold approach to his cricket. And the red Punto looks "hottttt" in the advert. The red GP almost teases you, you dont get to see it a lot in its entirety and are left wanting for more. Wait and watch it on your screens in a few days.

+1 to that. LC ad is the worst I've seen. a kiddish ad for a car costing 80L.who on toyota board approved it?

most of the TATA ads are excellent. from the days of the tata estate till date. well almost. they've messed up a bit with the indica ads.

the Maruti Suzuki add which had all the models of the car maker was excellent... The one which said "India comes home in a Maruti Suzuki".

I just love that add. Further their old add where the kid says "papa ki karan petrol khatam hi nai hoanda" was great as well.

Yes, the Safari Reclaim ad is top notch. It simply is emotionally appealing. 2 other ads that I like are the Esteem boy and Father ad (How much did you get in Maths?) and the current Maruti Service network ad (Child crying and finally getting pacified only when its mother holds it)

Not a car ad -- but an ad to emphasize getting your car serviced only at Maruti's service centers -- the ad has a wedding scene with the mother applying mehandi and various people trying to sooth a crying infant and failing.
The moment the baby is in the mother's arms it gets quiet and the tagline
-- Bring your Maruti cars to an authorized service center only -- well done.

Yeah I saw this too. Excellent ad. On the other hand, the ad for the new Jazz seems rather poor. The concept is fine but the video quality is so below par. Why couldn't they get a top quality camera?

I think people should take a cue before looking at the Ritz or the i20- How many times have we listened to the path that others have trudged on (in the field of discovery and car buying only that is) Get the punto- and the world will be watching you!
