The event looks all right. It has the promise of being better than the first time, especially with the change in track etc. I think TBHP should register its presence with good numbers. As I mentioned in the first post, this sport needs encouragement. Prize money has also been increased from last time, I think (I remember a member complaining in the other thread about it).

I'm looking forward to this, as there will be a lot more awareness this time round and I expect more crowds and press coverage than the first time. Hopefully, the event will match up to the expectation.

If nothing else, come just for the thrill of experiencing and exhibiting your car's potential against another car in an environment where there is no traffic, no cops and no danger.

All information was taken from APMSC website (except this post)

Well, participation is out of question as it takes a lot of preparation and dedication so it's best left to professionals.

With regards to participation, last time around there were close to 20 TBHPian's who cheered the happenings and one of our group member who participated in a stock zen category won the 1st prize.

So that ways, TBHP Hyderabad is always there at happening events, rest assured.

Also, we dont see you for any of drive or other meets, why is that?

Can someone post a pic of the track please?? We need assurance that it isn't going to be a 'drag bowl' like the last time. Trust me it takes a lot of time, effort and money to go from here to Hyd- and people won't make the same mistake again. I'm talking on behalf of several tuners and participants from Blore- so if there is assurance it will be more convincing for them to participate. Trust me, no one will come because of the prize money (since its still paltry) but if the organisation is good, participants could be willing to give it a shot.

P.S. What about the bikes???

Wow. Similar amounts of prize money for cars and bikes. Car guys pay double the entry fee of what bikes do and of course it takes more money, effort and time to prepare cars.

Organisers may want to reconsider this- otherwise its a good opportunity for bike participants.

P.S. Like I mentioned earlier, is it possible to get a pic of the new strip?? It'll go a long way in convincing potential participants here and beyond.

I find this ridiculous! The entry fee for one car is equal to what the winner gets!

You pay 3k for entry (car) and 1st prize winner also gets worth 3k. What the heck? Cant they offer a decent prize money?
