I am sorry Srikanth, I cannot attend this time. Right from Durga puja till Oct18 I cannot leave (expecting relatives in Bangalore). I already conveyed this to Patchyboy and few other Bangalore BHPians otherwise I was indeed interested to take part.

Evenings are always at Bengali Association Ulsoor. Otherwise I go to Koramangala, IAF-Command Hospital, Cambridge Layout pandals.

Fun part is all the 4 days, no food is cooked at home. Always bhog at pandals for lunch, luchi @pandal for breakfast and all those moghlai, bengali delicacies for dinner @ pandals only and I am seeing this trend in my home right from the childhood days in Hyd. I still miss the Durga Puja in Hyd a lot.

@Mansidea - There are still 2 rooms available in Grange. And all the rooms can take in an extra person. We will need to look at alternates if we have more families attending. I am waiting for responses from the memebers, so I can talk to other resorts nearby.

Ok guys, i am coming along with RAVIKUMAR in train to b'lore. We will be leaving hyderabad on 10th evening. 11th morning after reaching b'lore we intend to team up with condor and come in his sumo.

I need some info on the return timing. Based on the return time, we shall decide whether we want to take a train from salem or ride back to b'lore and catch the train from there.

If atleast couple of guys are staying till evening, we would want to take the train from salem.
Chennai/coimbi annas, b'lore boys and kerala folks what are your return plans?

PS: Who all are coming from kerala? zaki when will you be back? Can you make it to this meet? steer what about you?

Raj, the maps say 19km from Yercaud to Salem. Guess there will be buses too, just in case you want to stay a couple of hours more before you head to Salem to catch the train.

Yercaud is almost equidistant from Bangalore, Chennai & Coimbatore - so guess the entire group would be heading out immed after lunch.

8:30 AM assemble at A2B, between Hosur and Krishnagiri for Breakfast.
11:30 AM - Salem
12.00 Noon - Check into the resort. (Hope Chennai Annas will be able to make it at the same time)
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM - Lunch.
1:00 PM to Sundown - Sight seeing.
Sundown to bedtime - Bonfire, drinks and party.

12th October -

Breakfast, as and when we get up.
12:00 PM check out.
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Lunch.
2:00 PM disperse and head home.
