@shakir, the terrain looks nice man. A great place to be.

A question: how long was the 'true off-roading' part of this terrain? And how long were the dirt tracks. Apart from pictures do post some details also, as that would be very useful for our understanding.

khan terrain had everything slush, narrow lane, steep moutain climb, stream crossing, loose soil, steep incline, rock crawling, etc. every jeep was tested here tested here.
I am not good OTR writer as Mjothi sir, I thought somebody will start writing it up report but i will try put in roughly.
OTR started at 10.30am from mattupetty dam, the route munnar->mattupetty dam->echo station->top station. this is normal route from top station we had taken route to vatavatra(cannot prounce it), from here actual OTR start.
the terrain is about 25-30 Kms we could have done more but 2 jeeps had problems so we have to cut our route. Good thing about organizer team they had three mechanics with them to repair it there itself.
Check out next set of photos will post in 1hr,

I have no information about Bolero jeep, my friend told me it had no 4WD and it was pulled back and parked there itself.
All jeeper had 4WD other than Bolero. without 4WD that terrain cannot be done.

Mountain climbing photos, from the photos you can see we have to climb the mountain. one jeep could not climb due to some mechanical reason and had to be parked there itself.

That's why we say offroading photos can be misleading. Didn't he say earlier that the Bolero was a 2WD and was parked almost at the start?

No accidents. two jeeps fuel tank got busted and one of the jeep fan belt got broken. mechanics repaired the jeeps on the trail itself.
Internet is slow otherwise I have uploaded more photos.
