And reading this part saddens me. Not right. I can understand the effort that goes into something like this and its not fair. And as usual, a very nice event.

BANNED | ![]() Hello Tejas , was not blaming you , maybe I was unaware of Facts . Its normal that people having doubts . It would have been OK if I had it cleared from you ( personally ) Before posting the Suggestions . Event was flawless despite having a notable number of people . All your above mentioned points are well taken ( by me at least ) & will try taking care of that . Those are very much Important Any dues will be paid/taken care by me in next meet of ours. ( please tell if anything still due , I thought I cleared it) Again was not blaming / pointing a finger It was just a casual remark , but made in larger public interests. I have been thrugh public events all my life ( as family background & business ) Its a tight rope walking thing . I know it is difficult for the one who handles it . But one should always remember that if a suggestion comes forth there are atleast five silent people who dont speakup the same in public . You people are doing a wonderfull job thats why WE ALL enjoy this so much .It would not have happened that way if you had not taken some very good efforts . I am & always will be having an open ear. I will be there to share the load if you give a call anytime . Just tell me what needs to be done . This is a wondrfull thing happening & I will like to share & add my bit to it Please no offence by me with that suggestion. yours Sudarshan ( P.S. I had a tow rope of mine & think my passengers also helped till what they knew about it. Also I was there both times with James & tried to do what I could , please confirm with James ) Last edited by Sudarshan : 17th August 2010 at 12:13. |

We are always open to criticism. Just since you didn't have a background of how we function, i made it a bit clearer. And I was not replying to you personally. It was a general rant having observed things over the past one year but people still not following rules, etc. Don't worry about the money part at all. We had collected Rs10 extra anyways and it was enough. But the point i wanted to make to all was of being responsible. Anyways, now let's end this discussion here and someone please start a step by step report. EDIT: Shibu, you're right about the Endy. My bad. I guess some lift-kit is in place, and that is what is making it look so tall. Nice stance, but why would anyone want to do this to a 2WD vehicle ![]() Last edited by Blue Thunder : 17th August 2010 at 12:54.

Gautam, It was gr8 meeting you. I really like the offroading spirit of your son & wife. Your wife was litreally lifting the big stones to clear the way for others, that's simply amazing. Overall it was an amazing Independence Day where we were allowed to do anything with our machines, though instead of Brits we have Villagers to collect lagaan. I think our Ghandhiji (Devang) did a gr8 job by walking 2 kms (Daandi Yatra) with the villager to convince him to leave offroaders territory. Guys we should appreciate the kind of efforts it takes to organize an OTR. For us the OTR is Overall Team Responsibility and we don't believe in leaving any team member behind. Keep pics flowing so we can feel the kick of this OTR for some more time. Cheers! Alok

| ![]() Shibu, great capture, the entire event can be relived with your photos and your love for the Red Endy is quite evident in your pictures. I have some set of videos, not able to do any narration due to workload so will post them here Randomly. Binoy on the waterfall climb, dont have the entire video but he made it. My Jeep on the Waterfall Running out of time, have covered all the videos of people going thru the last slush, where Tejas tried his best to get Devang & Ibrahim stuck. Will post them by tonight. Closing with the famous Tag line (to be continued) |
