Switch to electric fan, life is fully peaceful after that.
I really do not know what vehicle seats they are. They were imported and brand new.
How about if I do this.

Re: New 4X4 project

visually it looks less, may be some testing will help you determine if its enough on hard landings in OTRs. Prabhu's current setup sounded very good and break proof on OTRs.

Re: New 4X4 project

Hey Jyobeb , dont you need bigger wheel wells for the rear wheels to accomodate for the articulation of those massive wheels . I maybe wrong but its my side of doubt .

Btw great progress and fast too . Easily the most unique 4WD project in India as far as i know .

As of now I have about 6.5" of ground clearance at the rear. New coil springs should give me about another 1".
I have decided to go with the electric fan after inputs from you hardcore offroaders!!!
Thanks Prabhu and Santosh.
The fitting of the fan is complete. Hopefully I will have no heating problem.

The mean front. I am fixing the rear bumper with the WILLYS script in front. The front bumper will be chopped and fixed at the rear to make space for the hitch ball.

Some more pics.
I have extended the front plates to accomodate a winch. And my radiator with electric fans is also ready.

Re: New 4X4 project

Amazing project. This is going to be a true blue monster. The front seat looks like from Cruze. Something is written at the back of the rear seats. Can you please have a look, probably will help to identify the donor vehicle. That is some extremely comfortable seat in the rear!

Thanks man! The front and rear seats are part of a set. They are actually leather!!!
I got a set of Fender flares fabricated for my rear. They were made at my local FRP fabricator and I am quite impressed with his work.
We had to make a couple of sets before we got it right.

Must say he has done a good job at the end, a quote of good paint will further improve the finishing. He can probably try to make it for the THAR as well;the flares available from Mahindra, though really good looking, are horribly priced.

The fender flares looks really cool But I think the old model round type is better than this on a Classy vehicle like this other wise it will stand alone from the overall theme.(Sorry Just My thought ).

What about removing that Sporty bolting area ?
