Regarding the tires there are two options. If you want the exact diameter as the OEM 7.50X16 tires, you need to switch to 15 inc rims and go for the 31x10.5x15 tires. The other option is the 245/75/16 tires that come on the scorpio getaway.
Dr. Roy is here as Gurkha.
He suggested me 235x85x16 cannot find anywhere.
31x10.5x15 gives me the same height but then the tyres stick out very much.
trying to find something in 16 or 17... help
Also need the AT tires.. my eyes are set on Yoko Geolander AT :(

THANKS a lot!
I had a word with Mr. Garry. He does not has the 235 one but has the 265x75x16 which will keep the height same. Thanks again iraghava for giving me his contact!
You're welcome RH !
Got a pal who bought in after quite some wait(i think he said he had to wait over an yr or so as the trax would not qualify with a snorkel on indian roads. Hes from Patiala,Punjab, by the way). Overall, probably the best bone-stock offroader you can get your hands on, if you are looking for one without getting involved with too many mods, but is lacking a lot in the comfot department, which quite many too list here, so anybody who wants is for a macho image only can wave it goodday as of now. Its meant only for a hardcore enthusiast, and my friend here, loves photography, and he sure does need it.

Then you mght as well go in for 31-10.5R15, as it is practically the same dia and width, with the advantage of a higher profile.
BTW, 265/75R16 tyre's dia is closer to 32 inch, whereas 265/70R16's dia is ~ 30.5 inch ?

The Armet Gurkha.
Armet Armored Vehicles
Anybody knows if there's some DNA sharing there? Intriguing that two vehicles exist with the same name and very similar profiles, with apparently no linkage.

The only thing common is the name.
Nope... even tata had sold their Sierra as Gurkha.
Just google TATA+Gurkha ;)
one image
yup TATA has a Gurkha too, I have seen one or two in England its more like a Tata Mobile pick-up and one like a Tata crew cab.
