I dont know which models are they.. they are parked at a store called Mohammadi AUto Parts who is a jeep specialist. this is located on sion kurla road before Kurla Garden.

I spoke to the guys at Mohammadi Auto Parts - they picked a lot of 5 Jeeps - all MM550XD, all are year 2000 army entry, except one which is 1998

Had a chance to inspect these too - although they aren't as clean as one would've hoped, the bodies are relatively less corroded - they seem to have been scavenged for parts just before the auction.

Also - all of these are as is (no registration) - the guy at Mohammadi said he could get the registration done (for an added amount).

someone mentioned here that army disposals can be alloted to army officers who are about to retire.

Yes, i have explored that route too. after talking to Army HQ, the M&M's and Gypsies are not alloted to army officers and are only auctioned off. Why is it so...i can't say that publicly!

This is for all the Jeep lovers especially MM550.. There is a guy names Jasbir Singh a.k.a Toto who purchases the Jeeps from the auction and sells them and even Modifies/restores them on demand.. Even I have purchased the Jeep from him and getting modified from him.. You can refer to my thread to see the quality of the work performed..

Yes - I believe so - for civilian use.
For the forces they have the MM550 NGCS in production

update..: Those jeeps seems to have gone, spotted the last one leaving yesterday in "as is" condition but surprisingly it had a MH 03 H XXXX number.
IF i am not wrong that series is from 1990s
