Why dont you go for 31-10.5R15 mud tyres from BFG or Yokohama, or 31-11.5R15 muds from maxxis? The yokos and maxxis are self cleaning directional tyres.
@Alfa_Kilo Thanks, i have no clue about any tyres apart from NDMS which i am using for my existing CJ. I am more concered about the difference in GC. is the tyres mentioned by you will decrease my GC? Can it be fixed on a Gypsy wheel?

In sand, it is sandgrip obviously and NDMS may not suffice.

Cheers,

I have used both the tires and I found different [had a set of Sandgrip from MRF stall at an industrial exhibition in goa].
when the ground is too soft for the vehicle, than the sandgrip show their colors. One has to reduce the air pressure in them thou.

This is a 1998 model XD3/BA10 - the gearshigt linkages are remote type. The chassis is C section. Transfer case is mechanically remotely operated (2WD / 4WD high / 4WD low in one line). Please get used to the shift pattern and feel. Don't change anything just now. I see the Vijay Auto sticker on the back glass, which is good.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Very nice looking Jeep, Congrats!

Hi Sreeraj,

Wow, its a really nice looking Jeep. You literally hit the jackpot by finding the MM550 XDB in stock condition.

As others said, please drive the Jeep for a couple of months to get the feel of it. Then you will know what you want to modify.

Sree, what you going to do? paint the star on the bonnet?

Vaspro, the white looks a lot better than the old color.
Is the chassis shortened? Also like the tires.
