The text is not printed. It is
engraved in to the glossy ceramic surface:
The lettering cuts about 1 mm deep to reveal the rough white bisque below. It gives the mugs a really unique look & feel:
Every variant has the "LIVE TO DRIVE" engraving on one side, and "TEAM-BHP" on the other side of the same mug:

After the engraving, has the section been filled in ? Or will it collect some dirt with time & use ?

Oven? ... what exactly are you planning to do? :D
The mugs are made from porcelain (and FDA certified / food safe), so I'd imagine it shouldn't be a problem.

There was an option to have a colour-fill within the engraved text, but the colour wouldn't hold very well.
Vid has been using his prototype mug for more than a year - it seems to have held up well.

I'd love that kind of reliability!
Seriously though, more than the engraving, its the logistics required to create & dispatch personalized merchandise that takes up a lot of time and effort. But it certainly adds that special touch.
This is such a nice thought and ordered a set in red. And like the hoodie, the wait starts now !!

I will take you up on this offer ..will order in black because that shows color fade, if any, really well when used in a dishwasher.

Hahaha..heat chamber test :D..
Actually, just to warm the coffee. Many a times, I end up putting it in microwave twice or thrice before I finish my cup.
