I thought Hyundai'sVIN numbers are 19 digits long.

I was planning on purchasing this apparently 2012 model. Didn't know it could be this old. The dealer showed me record stating they received it in their stocks on 12th Dec. Where was the car from March till December?:eek:

Don't go for either of these cars. If you are going for a 2012 Model insist for a November /December 2012 manufactured car.

This has really put me in a dilemma. The discounts are in the tune of 45k. Have visually inspected both the cars and they have 31 & 8kms on the odo respectively. Looked good, new tires, battery etc.

Explanation given by the dealer is that in all probability due to the higher demand for diesel cars, these might have been overlooked while sending to the dealers by the factory staff and then with the year coming to an end, factory mandatorily cleared their inventory and that explains why it landed up here on 12th Dec.

What should I do?please:

Hi - Do we have Fiat India's year codes for 2013 yet? Actually, I could not find mention about them for other manufactures as well

Most probably this will be KZ by looking at the previous year codes. Do you have the vehicle ? if so share the VIN
