Could you please check this VIN No for a Maruti Dzire:

MA3EJKD1S00332239

I asked them for the last 2 digits which are used to identify the year and month of manufacture and they said that the VIN No for Maruti's are just 17 digits.

Last 2 alphabets are KZ = 2013

VIN will be of 17 characters only. Ask for the Chassis number then you will get the additional 2 characters. see the picture below the find out the location of the same in the car.

On my vehicle invoice i have the Chasis No. / Vehicle ID = MA3EJKD1S00332239 (The showroom guys said that is the VIN no itself, hence i quoted that here)

The image that you have shared helps a lot :thumbs up, when i will go in for a PDI Check, i will try and get the remaining two letters to piece in the missing parts of the puzzle. Will share those once i have the same :D.
