From where did you get it done? Was it Trivandrum? If yes from which service center?
Someone please share the file through any means.
We don't have nexa dealers here in small towns and not very sure how MS dealers will respond. All we have got is you guys. You are our everything. As they say in Hindi "Sethji, Aap hi hamari Scross ke Maai-Baap ho"; "Ise acha sa update dila do" :D
I have successfully installed the Android Auto firmware on my S-Cross. Special thanks to Dr.Naren for his assistance.
Details of my successful installation can be found here:

You will need to download the installation files from here:

Take a pen drive of capacity 4GB or more and unzip all the files into the pen drive. Make sure there is nothing else on the pen drive, also make sure you don't create any sub-folders. Cheers!!

I have found the link to download 750 Version. Owners can use this as backup :). If anything goes wrong, we can revert back to 750.

Thanks. I'll install in the 2017 version this weekend and confirm if it's working.
Dr Naren had written about possible issues with the 2017 models in a post earlier.

You can give it a try. Download the 750 version also and keep it as backup :thumbs up. I will update here if I get to know about any 2017 cars with successful AA integration.

I remember you mentioning the Android Auto having troubles with 2017 manufactured cars. What is different in those? I have no idea.
The upgrade was successful in a friends car and mine. Both 2016 scross zeta. We also upgraded a 3rd car; a 2017 baleno alpha. While the head unit upgraded fine, AA refused to work. The same cables and phones works in my car while it flat out does not work on the 2017 baleno. The head Unit tself works as expected, just that AA does not work. I am at a loss to explain this.

Same story even in 2017 S-Cross. HU is working perfectly post update, but no Android Auto. I think it's better to revert back to 750 Version here.
Thanks to a Team-BHP Fan for sharing this (he prefers to stay anonymous):

I got Android Auto working on my S-Cross (2016 vintage). A big thanks to Naren and Rahul for the files and instructions for the installation process.
It was a case of third time lucky for me. The first time, the progress was stuck at 23% and the second time at the typical 97%. Both times, I removed the flash drive and re-inserted it back. The third time, the process was completed successfully.
Initially, I had installed Android Auto on my phone (Moto G4 Plus), while the above installation process was going on. On connecting the phone to the car using a USB cable, the system was unable to detect the phone. I uninstalled Android Auto from the phone and re-installed it, then the phone was detected and the screen accordingly got shown.
I have not played with it long enough to get a feel of it (just in my office parking). Initial feel is that the location of the USB is a pain. As the USB is located in the armrest, to keep the phone connected, either the phone has to be placed in the armrest console and the armrest closed (in which case you cannot see the phone) or you have to drive with the armrest open so that you can keep the phone outside (but I have gotten used to stretching out while driving using the armrest). I am considering making a small groove in the top edge of the armrest console, so that I can run the cable through that and keep the phone outside.
Also, I am planning to use a USB hub to connect both USBs (from where I play the music) and the phone (if required). Right now, it is one or the other. Crossing my fingers and hope it works.

You can close the armrest without making a groove. I have been running USB and AUX cables for a very long time now. Just make sure the cables are not in the way of the armrest's lock (located in the centre) and the armrest will close and lock without any fuss. No damage to the wires either, my AUX cable has been in use since Diwali 2015! Try it.
Is teh above update applicable to a 2016 model Ciaz? I did not see any reference to a Ciaz audio system being updated.
Cheers

Thanks a ton sunejarahul and Dr.Naren.
Installed successfully on my Brezza. As informed on the forum, the installation failed once at 23% and once at 96%. Removed and re-inserted the pen-drive both times and the third time around the installation went through. After the re-boot, the screen was blank for a long long time which gave me the shivers, tried pressing all buttons on the SLDA and the home button press flashed the 4 quadrant screen with AA enabled. clap:

Go ahead with it. All the Maruti vehicles have the same unit, this will work on Brezza, Ciaz, Baleno, Ertiga and S-Cross.
