3. 2 Vifa 4.5" midbass
4. 2 Blaupunkt Velocity tweeters
5. Home made Crossover for 4 and 5 (made out of plastic visiting card boxes)
6. Blaupunkt Velocity 6" components in front
7. Alpine 340 amp for front and rear
8. Blaupunkt 450 amp bridged for 6.5" bass tubes
9. Blaupunkt 275 amp for Infinity sub
10. Power cables from Polycab, Monster distributor block, and RCA cables from a friend (forget brand)
11. oh yes an Alpine 9835 and KCA 420i.
No, he still wins... he has 10 brands at last count... and you only have 6-7 brands... So obviously his system is better than yours...

BTW, congrats on getting that FG box finished. When do we get to see some pics...

Shucks I really was hoping for all that effort to pay off! :-) I think I gotta find 3-4 more brands to stuff in ym car so Ic an win this! Lets see... I could replace the Blau 450 with a Audison 4ch. amp and the Blau Velocity with Hertz Mille and the VRT midbasses with something from Illusion and since my home made corssover has CTR caps and Perfect Lay inductors does not that qualify as 2 brands! :-) LOL.

Pics! You want Pics! Damn you. Come here and give it a listen and you may even fine tune the system! Last time I could not even buy you guys lunch.

I hope the Sony is not an Xplod woofer! Those I wont use for free. Even my poor simple budget system would have fits with an Xplod in it's midsts.

me? never had anything that had blue anodised rims. maybe that is a another navin. there is more than one on this forum alone.

I use (cant say "drive") a silver Octavia. It has one distinguishable facet (hint: a bear that loves honey).

My system has been built given my very tight budget and my wife's needs to carry what looks like the entire contents of our wardrobes with us on every travel.

Enough for 2 30" check in bags, a 20" carry on and even a couple of duty free bags. Octavias have a rather large trunk.

80W! wow! most tweeters i know can barely handle 5-10W if not used with an XO. 80w must be with a HP XO say 12db/octave at 3000hz I assume. Right?
