Guys, let me know a good touch screen, video compatible head unit which falls around 15k..My friend is flying down from US this month, I wanted him to buy an head unit but am unaware of what is good at this price..

Can anyone suggest??

I understand from the previous posts in the thread that in grey market we usually get 3050 , 4050 .
Now the question , are these models not available in the normal showrooms ??
I want to know if these are exclusive grey market models ( is it ? ) then is it ok to buy them ?

Those T-Bhpians who have bought these grey market models can comment on their reliability ..

yes you can buy hu or any other stuff from grey market there is no problem buying them the only thing you don't get with them is the warranty and for this you pay quiet less then the b&w stuff.

the models that are available in grey market are 3050,4050,5050 (these are from pioneer) same models comes with b&w 3090,4090,5090.

when ever you buy grey market product keep in mind that you are well acquainted with the person you buying it from.

Kenwood x7009 & x8009,. Can anyone help me with the prices ??

I got a quote of 17000Rs for the X7009. Is it a good price ?

Are you sure, the quote you got was for x7009. its not a good price. the mrp for this model is 14390/=

14 k? Thats good news ! My budget is 20k man, want a Hu , with TA , USB and at least 4V pre outs !

Alpine is out because of USB .
Pio- i don't really like the sound signature.

Iam looking for something warmer and deeper than the pio ,
You got a 7008 rite ? Hows the HU mate?
