I am planning to get the Clarion DXZ785USB from the USA. I will be fitting it in my new Spark LS. Is there anything I need besides just the head unit for installation and are there any additional modifications that are needed to slot the HU in the designated slot? Any concerns with this HU that I should be wary of?

Does the spark have OE headunit,if yes then you would need the fascia adapter for the HU to fit in.

No my car did not come with a OE HU and I am not sure what you mean by a facia adapter, but there sure is a slot for a HU. Infact it can easily accomodate a 2 DIN HU as well.

If your car doesn't have a OE HU,then you easily install the clarion HU there.

Pio DEH-P6050UB
Pio DEH-P5190UB

what would cost with B&W and also in grey?

Any idea about the new models from Pioneer? I like the motorized faceplate on the 6050.. Am looking for a good HU within 10k which has USB, AUX, 3RCA Preouts, iPod and bluetooth(if budget permits) ...

Pioneer 7150 is available in grey below 10k but no built-in bluetooth. You have Blaupunkt MP57 and a Sony HU with Bluetooth for about 10k with bill but no idea about the number of Pre-outs.

Believe theres a kenwood model with Front USB, Front AUX IN, Inbuilt BT, 3 preouts for around 10K. Will dig out the model number later.

Believe to be a higher model compared to what MS10 [Did I get it correct ? ] got it in his car recently at EVO

You can find the latest Pioneer models available in India here - Car Audio

They have DEH-6150BT with Bluetooth support but it has only 2 Preouts. Not sure about the prices. I recently bought DEH-P7150UB for 14500 with B&W. I am not sure how much it retails for at other stores since I did not check it out at other places. :(

Kenwood X7009 suits the requirements specially the 1st one if you are thinking of buying it from India.
