Eh? NOOOO! The that Audi gives as OE is a European system, not Chinese with Indian maps.

All of them are 2DIN, as is the OE location. Will fit without modifications (not sure if it will need a dash adapter - a plastic bezel to cover gaps; please check as there is no pic of your dash).

Some dealers would install it for you. If directly from the company, you will need to take to an installer to get it mounted. No big deal - they are plug and play.

Re: Prices of HEAD UNITS

Guys, any recommendations and prices for the following in BLR:

Pioneer FH-X759BT
http://www.pioneer-india.in/shop/fh-x759bt/

JVC KW-R900BT
http://www.jvc.co.in/car/cd_receiver...0bt/index.html

There are not many reviews of these around, so your help would be much appreciated. I'm more favored towards the JVC but would be willing to hear pro's and con's of both.

Basically I'm looking for a double din with bluetooth for my Baleno, so any further recommendations would be highly valued! Looking to buy this week!

Cheers!

Re: Prices of HEAD UNITS

I am contemplating the purchase of a 2-Din HU for my Figo. The Pioneer AVH-X2590BT has all the features that I would require and its costing close to 19K on SnapDeal, I was also checking the AVH-2500BT from US of A and it was costing close to 255$ which is 13K INR!?

I am wondering if the X2500BT and X2590BT are the same!?

If you're getting from the us, do check out its FM tuning steps. US spec doesn't allow even FM stations. And trust me, I've faced this, and its not easy getting a good solution.

Re: Prices of HEAD UNITS

I picked up the Alpine 2 din player,- CDE 235EBT for Rs 12000/- for my Innova with 2 year Warranty from indian Decar, Hyderabad. I was getting better deals on Poineer/Sony/JVC but Alpine looked classy of the lot. Others were looking like Disco lights. Toyota seems to have created a double din with extra large space.

Getting a HU with Time alignment feature was difficult in the starting range. There is one in JVC, KW-R900BT but it was out of stock everywhere.

Hi folks,

Just wanted to ask. Is the relatively new pioneer 9400 head unit available in India? It seems like a great hu and would want to upgrade from my old but lovely 5090...

Re: Prices of HEAD UNITS

Hi guys,

I am considering these two HU's for my Polo

- JVC KW-R900BT
- Kenwood DPX-U5130BT / DPX-500BT

The JVC i can find online for approx 14k and i can find the Kenwood 500BT for $164 on Amazon. However the Kenwood india website mentions the U5130BT which has the same features but i cant find any price. Can somebody please help me out with some feedback / price of the two and where to procure it from.

Currently leaning towards the Kenwood as it looks more close to stock than the JVC.

Pioneer Deh1590ub

Installed a Pioneer DEH 1590 UB in my Alto last week..

I got it for Rs.4200/- from a local seller "MUSIC PARK" in Erode. Not sure if that is a good deal. The SQ is good enough to satisfy the average listeners. Good lows and highs. SQ can be customized to suit one's listening taste. Overall, a good system of average listeners. But not an audiophile product though.

It is connected to a pair of 4" JVC DRVN 2-way drivers in the front. And a pair of 6x9 Ultimate T1 ovals in the rear.

Search for "USB only" in the search box above. The was a thread for a Sony unit doing all the above sometime back.
