Mods, why dont you move the irrelevant posts to a new thread, it'll make life much simpler for others!
As long as the ICE discussion is related to an Elantra, it can remain in this thread.

You do know that you can use the Report Post feature to notify regarding such issues, right?

My post was with regard to the Bass controller discussion which Hijacked this thread. I'm sorry if my post made me sound rude.

Here, let me rephrase. "If the Mods could move the posts regarding the Bass controller to another thread, it would become easier for someone facing the same issue to search/post."

The bass controller discussion is definitely not a worthless discussion or anything. But for the convenience and benifit to other members, it would be better to move it to another thread.

And yes, I will use the Report Post feature next time, Sorry.

Now getting back to the Elantra's ICE.

Vivek (1self), did you get that FM interference issue sorted out yet? What was the problem?

Shrivz..

FM Issues

Hey Shrivz,

Nope, it has not been sorted out yet...will be going to Bafna 2moro to do the same...methinks the grounding has a lot to do with it...i did not have the problem earlier with the old system...thinking of taking the ground directly to the negative of the battery....let's see?

How Much did the Head Unit Cost you..

Wanted to ask you what happens to the sound or the movie being played when you apply the reverse gear and it goes into rear view mode.

hey vivek!!

that's a whole lot of equipment. you do justice to that long boatmobile of a car.

congrats on your improvised setup. i have heard it almost a month before with most of it not installed, even then it sounded like you could use your twin woofers to drive your car to the nearest petrol bunk if ever you run out of fuel. LOL

that is one moving discotheque!

I am sure it doesn't measure the distance as there are no sensors. It only shows the rear.

I had a few pictures of 1self's ICE setup and a few upgrades that he did:
