PM Bass&Trouble, he's the CEO of Hermit Audio Pvt. Ltd. which represents Illusion Audio in India.. He will give you the dealer information.. He'll ship it to you if there aren't any dealers in mangalore..

Congrats Techno!
Excellent choice of speakers but IMO its the HU and amp that needs to be changed in the next upgrade.
Keep it simple and enjoy the music my friend.

Dear Sunil K (< Kamath by any chance?)

I am assuming you have pasted the exact contents of your email into your post.

The EL 4.1 is for Rs. 4990/-

It is not advisable to get just a pair of midwoofers and pair it with JBL tweeters. Or any other tweeters for that matter. Its just not the same as buying a completely matched component set. I would suggest two options:

1. Keep the JBL tweets and use just about any inexpensive coaxial/ whizzer cone type 4" speaker with them.
2. Buy any good 4" component set, but dont use the JBL tweets in tandem with them. If you are worried about the JBLs not being in use, you could try connecting them in parallel with your rear speakers. Especially if the rear tweeters are a bit treble-shy.

remember that JBL speakers are about 2.6ohms putting a 4 ohm tweeter in parallel with them will drive the impedance down to under 2 ohms above 4K or so (when the tweeter is active). This might load many an amp.

@ navin: Naah. just in the highs wont matter. I'm sure the JBL tweets come with an inline network.
