Rev_Hard's Safari ICEd with iD and Genesis

Hi All,

While our dear Rev_Hard chills out in San Diego, his (bro's) Safari was ICE'd here earlier this week.

Here is what went in...

- JVC AVX33
- Image Dynamics CTX65cs components
- Image Dynamics CTX65 coaxials
- Image Dynamics iDQ12D4 v2
- Genesis Profile 5 amplifier
- Connection Cables
- Damping

Pics to follow...

I've got goose pimples. My favourite vehicle being ICE'd by my favourite installer. Waiting with anticipation.

Rear Fill... iD CTX65

Some things we like about this "coaxial" - it is essentially the same midbass as the CTX65cs components, the only difference is that the tweeter is coaxially mounted. Also the iD guys have built the best swivel we've used.

Did you use damping or the panels are strong enough?

Moral, we used damping. Somehow missed out on taking pics at that stage.

Great going dude.

A 5 ch amp, never heard.

My ICE Setup in our Safari is similar.

2 Components and tweeters at the front(MBQuart)
2 Co-ax speakers at mid row(
MBQuart)
One 12 inch sub (MBQuart) at rear
Sony 4 ch amp below the front left seat
HU to Sony DVD 2000 chucking the old Blaupunkt
2 Head Rest LCD's .

Pls let us know how much did that cosed u and how good the whole setup sounds.
