I think the Esteem steering wheel is oversized , so the remote kinda complements it.

the 3 lights are quite quirky lol.
one is blue, one is red and the other is a mixture of blue and red and looks purple.
chics dig it ;-)

From the pics on Ebay, I could see a wired IR sensor (receiver) that is mounted behind the steering.

frankmehta - does this remote need a wired sensor (connecting to the HU)? Or is it able to communicate with the original HU sensor on the faceplate?

nothing extra. it communicates with the sensor on the hu. there are no wires and no extra sensors.
its quite simple . see my pictures.

yep. on all HUs! im thinking it will work on home audio too!
an outrageous reason to buy this:
i have a ps3. i can buy the steering wheel. while playing my need for speed most 'unwanted' i can adjust the volume control on the home theatre on the fly!

whatsay???? hhehehehe!

how do i order for one? how much does it cost?

Now thats a nice idea, but then u'd have to keep shifting it from your car to home and then back to your car again, so i'd say order another one, and when you do that, order one for me too. lol

Can be paired with any remote control. This is a pretty universal universal remote & very easy to set up too. Love the colours.

if you have a pio HU, the pioneer one makes more sense since its much cheaper!

@greenhorn- how much would the pio remote cost? i have a 6050 if im right, it dint come with the steering mounted remote though, i got just a normal remote
