I am done for now.

1) Got 3 pairs Connection Audison of RCA's for the two amps (6000F and PA275). The Twister RCA also was replaced with Audison ones

2) The Pio amp was fixed to the behind of the rear seat thereby creating useful boot space and a neat fit.

3) Tha 275's LP set to almost 100Hz or so. At 200Hz, teh damn boot was vibbbbraaatiiinnggg a lotttt. NOw its tighty tighty.

4) The 6000F was tuned; but I have to get a DVM to set the gains the Venu way; but anyway I am happy.

5) Next Dynamat then maybe SWWS too! Need a PA275 for that? Anyoen wanna sell? , Alpine or Pio HU, fibre work for frnt door! Damn!...

Pix

1) The mdf going behind the rear seat. It was held tight using some U shapped nails

2) To this was screwed teh Pio amp. The old RCA cables (red and blue ones)

3) The new setup; Audison RCA cables held to teh back of the seat. The extra RCA length is needed when one has to fold the seat down.

Nice JK

Try lower your crossover point on the sub maybe in the region of 80Hz to avoid localisation of the subwoofer and please move your rear tweeters towards the outside.

sub maybe in the region of 80Hz to avoid localisation of the subwoofer ; you mean make teh LPF set at 80Hz ?

move your rear tweeters towards the outside ; teh tweeters fire towards you if you are looking at it when the boots open; ehem, teh tweeters fire at the glass not to teh front. Well?

Hi JK,

Yes that's precisely what JB means. Set the LPF around 80Hz.

By localisation my good man JB means... ummm

let me simplify

A subwoofer is supposed to be omnipresent. You arent supposed to be audibly able to point out which part of the car it is in.
When the sub will play around 80Hz and below, it will achieve that desired effect.

Hi JK,

I got a PA275 which has been installed once, but then taken out cos the guy didn't pay up. Mint condition. As good as new. Name your price.

What's with the yellow 'window-pane' on the one PA275 you have installed? Don't you think a blue looks better?

Let me know if he wants a few trillion more to make a glass-house, considering I don't have any offspring and I'm too cramped for time to embark on a project like that.
