looks good even the STUs shld try this option for InterCity and yes AL will have to do an aggressive marketing

Its a FE but the design inside the cabin looks clean and neat

Agree, Loss making STUs have an option now. Don't worry AL is very good in marketing to STUs. Question is TVS-Irizar could keep up with the demand?
Is it just me? Just for the front design, Do you see some similarities here..May be for that matter all buses looks similar. Inside is neat, But personally did not like the rear, looks more like the back of private buses in Kerala.

the bus looks ok-ish. the grille could have been leaner, the bumpers could have been lowered taking the headlights even lower & the windscreen could have been bigger.

iT09

I am quite sure the grill could have been much much better.
Windscreen is the coomon one which we find with the Conventional Irizar Coaches.
Head lamp cluster is not that bad either.
But I am loosing hope...

iT09

Here is a picture of AL LimoFE launched during the initial days of IrizarTVS. (The design is based on Irizar Intercentury) I have only seen one till date! (at Chennai). I feel LimoFE is asthetically much better than the new iT09.
This bus(iT09) can be compared with the Tata Globus1616 (not Hispano Globus!). At about 24Lh for body alone, STU's may find it a better alternative. But with private players, only time will tell how AL manages the show!

Side profile, back and the windshield looks very similar to Irizar Century coach. Looks like the front is contributed by AL/TVS and rest by Irizar. May be because most of the Irizar designs are using Rear engines, where as this one is front engine. Defenitely not a game changer. (For the records the new Izuzu buses looks more Irizar-ish than this bus). Simply based on looks, not a game changer. AL may be able to market to STUs, but i think private operators will still go with Prakashes, but time will tell.

Are these CNG variants? Else, why are they being carried on trucks instead of being driven down?

They are not CNG versions. Check out the 200 lts diesel tanks on them.
Not sure why they are not driven even as a bare chasis.

These are low floor chassis,I think its being carried in trucks to avoid damages due to bad road conditions.

Generally Low floor buses are meant for city driving conditions hence getting them to distant cities from plant may be one more reason for carrying in trucks.
