The draft CFD analysis of cybertruck by An aerospace engineer.

Martin is the first to admit his findings aren't perfect, but they're a great first draft. Moreover, this model helps shed light on the matter and shows that the truck may be more aerodynamic than skeptics thought.

Pininfarina CEO Michael Perschke has a thing or two to talk about Cybertruck with a pinch of humour in it - of late big heads are taking a dig at each other’s product by taking it to social platforms.

Do you guys think design of the final product would be the same or it would change?

Should a mere $100 - $150 booking amount be considered as booking confirmations, especially when the amount is refundable? The truck is amazing for the price but I doubt Tesla can fulfill even half of the deliveries by the end of 2022.

That said, electric vehicles are torque monsters and Ford better not challenge Tesla from a standstill. The dimensions of this truck are humongous though!

Questions that arise - What happens to the other car that is involved in an accident with this truck? Is your garage large enough? As an add on accessory, what is the cost of that Electric ATV? What could it be named?

Imagine owning one of these combos, charging your truck while you take a stroll in your ATV; or exploring massive parks with this combo. I believe this truck and the combo is aptly named. Welcome to the future ladies and gents.

The biggest obstacle to getting this design certified especially in US would be laws vehicle design guidlines and laws such that mandate pedestrian safety, size of bumpers, size of mirrors etc.

Can you point to the exact regulation? There are some regulations for Semi trucks. There is nothing I could find for passenger cars, or pickup trucks.

The primary intent of the existing regulations is to prevent physical damage to the vehicle, nothing about passengers or pedestrians. EU is trying to add sound to EVs, and I think Tesla has placed a speaker to handle that when the regulation is implemented. Even the bumper height regulation is for cars alone. Pickup trucks have whatever height. I see several 4Runners and F150 trucks with cast iron bumpers on a chassis that is lifted to a ridiculous height - for off roading.

Tesla Cybertruck caught on video on Expressway!

Quote:
For those who may have wondered whether or not the Cybertruck is the real deal or just some fancy show car, this video basically proves that the electric pickup truck is more than capable of propelling itself down the road at speed.

Tesla CEO Musk and Friends Spotted Out Driving Tesla Cybertruck!

Quote:
Musk was driving, his long-time girlfriend Grimes (Claire Elise Boucher) was in the middle seat up front, and likely four others were in tow as well.

Reports don't elaborate on the other passengers, however, they do point out that Tesla's Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen was at the restaurant, along with Musk's "friend" and famours actor Edward Norton, who came out after dinner to gaze at the Cybertruck.

With the angles it has, it looks more of a 'stealth' truck than a cyber truck.

Also, I wonder why they went for such a polarizing design. Standard trucks in the US like the Ram, F150, Tacoma all look perfectly elegant in my opinion. The Cybertruck would look at home on martian soil more like! I would rather go for the Rivian R1T.

Re: Tesla pick-up truck plans confirmed EDIT: 'Cybertruck' unveiled!

Elon Musk manages to 'crash' his cybertruck. Not a serious accident, but Elon knocks down a traffic pylon in Los Angeles after dinner with friends!

There is some technical debate about whether Elon is allowed to drive the prototype unless it is for testing purposes, but I'm not sure what the legality is.

The sheer number of dislikes on the video show how rattled the Tesla fanboys are.
Hands down one of the most annoying fanbases on the internet.

Elon Musk has said that the Tesla Cybertruck would come with wading depth and a heat pump. He has also said that the Cybertruck would float on water for a while.
