Thanks guys. Its Al Mouj Golf course, Muscat, Oman. It was a trial visit in preparation for the Europcar Open tournament next month (as official photographer), but I dont think I will be able to make it as I am wanted by few brides in our own soil. Being a second time NRI, my first preference goes to the souls here whenever they need me

Discovered this recently while shifting from my old house to a new flat. Touched it after more than ten years. Just needed a new pair of LR44 batteries to jump back to life. Intend to expose at least one roll for nostalgia's sake. My friend since early 80s and taught me the basics of photography (not that I learnt much). The lens remains spotlessly clean. No trace of any fungus.

I have not been regular in posting images these days. Too much work & less time on the forums are the culprits :( Here's an exercise in studio lighting. Shot these guys on a Nikon D800 & the Nikkor 105mm f 2.8 Macro lens. For lighting, I used two SB910 units triggered off camera using Pocketwizards & some kitchen aluminum foil for some bounce light. Hope you guys enjoy them.

The character of the betta splendens is very well captured in these images. What is the aperture in the first shot? Incredible depth of field.

Thanks Sudipto. I am glad you could see that character, since that was my inspiration. The fish really have unique personalities which is what inspired me to make their portraits in the first place.
The aperture was ƒ/32. I blasted one flash at full power and the other one at 1/8 power to get the exposure to work with such a tiny aperture.
