A few pages back Tanveer posted a night shot of city. I used the same technique to take a picture of Phoenix city

Another long exposure taken on the same night. Only light available was moon light (two days before full moon) and city lights at a distance.

To get the same effect you need to rotate the camera also along with the zoom.

@Rudra-da, devp24 - these are indeed the Lacewing eggs and not the Youtan Poluo Flower.
I have had lot of these growing up on the window grill of my room, and asked a friend who is very much into the world of insects and he confirms it.

I did that one too, but the turn rate was much faster than the zoom rate ending up in a bad image.

@Mayavi, great pics overall. The night shot of the rocky place has a good LOTR setting feel to it. Love your pics man. In a city that hardly has a multi-storeyed building it must have been tough to get that view of the city by night. I liked that one too
