Nice pictures, but it is actually low (or narrow) aperture.

Nice pic but you could have played a little with the lines, the composition would have been far better.

Thanks for the correction . I just read it on ineternet, higher the value, lower the aparture and higher Depth of Field.

Clevermax,

. My lab is the kitchen. Ok, I admit I cheated a bit, the photo is cropped and the hue was changed from green to blue as I wanted it to match the bg a bit. Here's the exif,

Camera: Canon EOS 350D Digital
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) (max sync speed)
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal Length: 105 mm (Sigma 105 macro)
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
ISO Speed: 100

The flash used was YN460 aimed (handheld) at the background and camera mounted on tripod. Triggered with Sonia trigger. I had a tough time getting the timing right. I have to see if I can get a cheap timer to do some hi speed photography.

Ha ha and wake up half dead like a zombie? Won't lose anymore sleep till saturday. Let me know if you wanna do some strobist stuff, I will be more than happy to join you for some experiments .

I wish all three flowers were in focus, the bokeh is nice, but I am not a big fan of this DOF.

I am ready for strobist stuff, but this weekend you are busy anyway. Also need to find a place, my home is totally out of question as my 2 lilliputs will be on top of all our experiments !

Thanks for the tip, infact I wished if the blurred big flower was not there.
