had the change the shutter speed to the maybe 2500 to get it like it was pitch dark

was there any other way, other than taking it in pitch darkness>??

Some Pics from my Sea Travels

The 2nd pic is of the Maldives. It really is as good as the brochures say!
The 3rd Pic is the colour of the sea during a sand-storm in Egypt.
The Last Pic is of the sun-set colours during the forest fires of Malaysia & Singapore.

Last Sunday morning it rained so hard, it was a sight to see. Even the youngest member of our house noticed it for a change. In fact, when I saw him enjoying the rain, it was time to pull out the camera to a capture his joy and the rain.

Hello, Tata Sky... can you see me? I can't see ya...

This rain is too much, I better find some shelter.

The rain lashed this like for more than 2 hours and took another hour to taper off. Since then it has been raining like this every day and even night.

Thanks redrage!! Pentax Optio 550...It's just a point-&-shoot but the manual capabilities are tremendous. If i ever get a SLR...it will be from this stable.
